2019 Funding

We depend on the kindness of donors and the generosity of our community to help us provide dental care for children at no cost to them. So far this year, we have received almost $270,000 in grants from the following entities below.

Children Services Council of Martin County
We were awarded $175,434 for our continuing contract with community partner CSC.

United Way Martin County
Martin County United Way awarded us with $15,000 from their Community Impact Grant.

United Way St. Lucie County
For the first time from St. Lucie United Way, we were given $4,445 from the Stanich Grant.

Allegany Franciscan Ministries
Allegany granted Light of the World with two $30,000 grants for the following two years.

Hobe Sound Community Chest
A $7,500 grant was provided to us to facilitate our daily operations.

Loblolly Foundation
We received a grant in the amount of $27,610 from the Loblolly Community Foundation.

The Community Foundation of Martin and St. Lucie
The Cassidy Family Fund graciously gifted Light of the World Charities $9,500 for dental supplies.
